A banner goes up on your site and on wiseravenfire.com telling local businesses they have 14 days to bid for the sponsor placement.
When the clock runs out, the top bidder wins, pays securely online, and is published as your community sponsor.

How the bidding works
New communities. The moment a community requests a site, bidding opens for 14 days. A banner on the community site and on the WiseRavenFire home page tells local businesses how long is left and what the current high bid is.
Yearly renewals. Every November 1 the sponsorship for the coming year reopens for bidding and closes November 30. Existing sponsors can bid again, and any other local business can compete for the spot.
Bidding rules. Each bid must beat the current high bid by the set increment. Only the leading business name and amount are public — never the bidder list. When the clock runs out the top bid wins and pays online by card.
No sponsor yet? Your site still launches.
If nobody bids in the first window, we keep the auction cycle running and reopen bidding — your community pages, alerts, and volunteer tools stay available in the meantime. Email support@wiseravenfire.com with any questions.
